The National Fugitive Recovery Agency is the nation's largest and fastest growing network of Bail Enforcement/Fugitive Recovery professionals. We offer quality training, certification and resources to aid Fugitive Recovery specialists across the nation.
 
All of the Agents registered with the National Fugitive Recovery Agency receive the following benefits to aid and enhance their duties and performance as professional Fugitive Recovery Agents:

The National Fugitive Recovery Agency also offers a professional training program to educate and equip operatives throughout the nation. Currently, the National Fugitive recovery Agency offers the following Certification Courses:

  • Fugitive Recovery Agent Certification Course
  • Fugitive Recover Special Agent Certification Course

The courses are designed to educate and equip the operative for work in the realm of Fugitive Recovery, specific to the Bail Bonds industry. Courses include the required manuals, text books, video curriculum and exams. Upon completion of the course, students receive their Certification and are listed on the National Fugitive Recover Agency's data-base, which is a national directory for active Fugitive Recovery specialists and is made available for Bail Bond Agents and Agencies across the nation.

For those who are professional Fugitive Recovery Agents and are not graduates of the National Fugitive Recovery Institute, the National Fugitive Recovery Agency offers the following:

Membership must be renewed annually. Initial Membership is $250.00 and annual renewal is $50.00. Each renewal year, the member receives a new identification card, window decal and patch.

NFRI - National Fugitive Recovery Institute offer two (2) Certification Courses for Fugitive Recovery specialists. The curriculum is designed to provide valuable knowlege and skills in tracking fleeing criminals, apprehension, and technical skills.
 
FUGITIVE RECOVERY AGENT CERTIFICATION COURSE
The curriculum for this agent level is as follows:

  2. The Criminal Justice System
  3. Bail Bonds - Explanation & Overview
  4. Nicolls -vs- Ingersoll
  5. Taylor -vs Taintor
  6. What is a Fugitive Recovery Agent? - Powers & Responsibilities
  7. Proper Handcuffing Techniques
  8. Basic Computer Tracing
  9. Basic Surveilence
  10. Laws of the State

The Fugitive Recovery Agent Certification Course is the first or primary level of certification offered by the National Fugitive Recovery Institute. It is required that students who enroll in this program be at least 25 years of age and posses a clean criminal record.

Upon completion of the Fugitive Recovery Agent Certification Course, students are qualified (in most states) to apply for and acquire a position as a Fugitive Recovery Agent (a.k.a. - Bail Enforcement Agent).
